Spread the facts about the benefits of the healthcare law

In the year and a half that's passed since the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, the benefits and insurance protections of the law are making a real differences in the lives of millions of Americans.

However, 1 out of every 2 Americans still doesn’t know the facts about the law--and right-wing opponents are poised to try to take away the law’s benefits and end Medicare and Medicaid as we know it. In order for everyone in America to have access to quality, affordable healthcare, we must protect and promote the benefits of the law and share the facts.

Healthcare is getting a lot better. Thanks to the Affordable Care Act signed into law more than one year ago, children with pre-existing conditions can no longer be denied coverage, tens of thousands of young adults can now get coverage through their parents’ health insurance and insurance companies must now spend at least 80 percent of premiums on proving care rather than doling out shareholder profits and executive bonuses.

But all of this health security is now at stake. Will you help spread the facts about the healthcare law by sharing this link with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter or email?

Instead of getting down to the hard work of creating good jobs, congressional Republicans, Governors and state lawmakers want to turn back the clock and take away the benefits of the healthcare law.

We cannot afford to let the insurance companies regain control of the care we've worked so hard to secure.

Help increase awareness of how the healthcare law is helping millions of American seniors, women, young adults and families:
