In a speech last year, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said that our country's immigration challenges can't be resolved through mass deportations alone.
Last week, the Washington Post reported that a leaked memo revealed that ICE has issued enforcement quotas for officers—ignoring earlier pledges to keep enforcement focused only on criminals and abusive employers.
These new ICE quotas don't reflect our American values of fairness.
Write DHS Sec. Napolitano and Asst. Sec. for ICE John Morton and tell them to rein in rogue officers and get back to the constructive mission of protecting our nation’s security and punishing abusive employers.
