Senator Specter Switches to the Democratic Party:
Tell Him to Support the Employee Free Choice Act and Healthcare Reform.

Arlen Specter needs to hear from you now. Pennsylvania's working families need his support on the Employee Free Choice Act and healthcare reform. We're going to one of his offices tomorrow with some of our SEIU members and we'll make sure he hears from you.

Yesterday, Arlen Specter joined hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians who have left the right-wing dominated Republican Party and announced that he would become a Democrat.

But the issues that face working people in our state have not changed, and the support they need from their representatives in Congress hasn't changed, either.

We appreciate how Arlen Specter has risen above partisanship in the past to support working people. We're here to work with him, and we'll need his support on the issues important to working families, including the Employee Free Choice Act and Healthcare Reform.

Write your note to Senator Specter and we'll deliver it to his office this week.  Once you've done that, invite your friends & family to do the same.
