On Tuesday, Los Angeles City Councilmember Richard Alarcon, who voted against job cuts for L.A. workers, is moving a bill that would set high standards for banks to meet in order to do business with the city of L.A. The message to bankers is clear: if your continue to drive our city into deficit with complicated financial arrangements, we'll take our business elsewhere. Period.
Help get this bill passed. Join us at the hearing on Tuesday.
