Swing State Republican Senators Hit with Digital Ad Campaign; Homeland Security is No Place for Games

SEIU launched an online digital ad campaign targeting vulnerable swing state Republican senators for playing games with homeland security funding and trying to kill immigration action. All four senators are up for reelection in 2016.
Despite broad support for the temporary immigration actions these Senators voted multiple times to put politics ahead of our nation’s security and public safety for the sake of undoing the deferred action for millions of young DREAMers and immigrant families.

SEIU and allies are also releasing a poll today showing swing state voters have no taste for Sens. Rob Portman (OH), Pat Toomey (PA), Mark Kirk  (IL) and Ron Johnson (WI)  playing games with Homeland Security funding. The findings of the poll and new digital ads targeting the states’ four U.S. senators underscore the building momentum of immigrant and working families to hold these senators accountable at the polls in 2016.
